Dance Dance Revolution X2 Arcade Cabinet

Visited an arcade I haven't been to in ages, I was surprised to see the DDR Cabinet Updated:
DDR X2 was installed on it.
Guess Konami is still working with DDR, makes me happy, I want this series to stay alive (...not to mention they killed off In the Groove...so they better keep up with DDR)

And with that came players. For the first time in ages I had to wait for my turn to play on the machine. I've been to hooked to Project Diva lately.

Well, there goes all my DDRX stats, my card made a new account for X2.

The basics were the same, input your name, data, choose a character and then
the two modes are now called "happy mode" or Pro Mode"

The big new thing I guess would be the song selection screen.
They went back to the old side scrolling album select layout,
honestly looks like the album flow from itunes.

Looks neat, but I think we've all gotten used to the vertical scrolling selection screen
it's gonna take some time to get used to that. They've used that since...I can remember,
DDR MAX...no before that. I think its been like that since the first cabinet?

Other than that there weren't much differences, I didn't get to check out the songs, just played my regular workout songs... and man I'm out of shape-
Well, this gives me more incentive to check out that arcade, I want to check out DDR X2 more the next time I play.
